Father, Your Son Jesus Christ is our High Priest.
We thank you that he allows us all to share in his priesthood by our baptism,
And that he calls some to share it in a different way by ordination.

We thank you for the call you gave to Fr. Frank Pavone,
And for the priestly ministry he has exercised since 1988.
He is a priest forever, in the line of Melchizedek.

Countless people call him “Father,”
Because of the work he has done in saving lives, healing the wounds of abortion,
And helping people understand and live the pro-life dimensions of their Faith.

Yet Pope Francis has restricted his priestly ministry.
We pray that this Pope, or the next, will reinstate Fr. Frank.

Meanwhile, we are grateful that he continues his full-time pro-life leadership
in Priests for Life, Rachel’s Vineyard, Silent No More,
and the National Pro-life Religious Council.

As we show our support for him and these ministries,
Give him your joy and protection,
And strengthen the commitment of the whole Church
To defend the unborn.
