Evangelist Alveda King and Fr. Frank Pavone were happy to have participated in the annual national Commemorative Service in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr., at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, this year on January 16th, at which Fr. Frank led the singing of "We Shall Overcome."

Fr. Frank, Janet Morana and Marie Smith are taking part in a wide range of Inauguration activities. Fr. Frank is leading various prayer events and will be participating in the Inauguration ceremony itself as well as providing commentary to media outlets.

Fr. Frank is preparing to help lead the Silent No More gathering that will take place at the West Coast Walk for Life.

Fr. Stephen Imbarrato is also in Washington, DC this week for pro-life events. He performed a blessing of Planned Parenthood in DC with blessed salt and water. He attended pro-life meetings and will be protesting a Planned Parenthood Inaugural fundraiser.  On Saturday, January 21 he will be leading a prayer vigil in Maryland and then protesting the woman’s march.

Bryan Kemper is preparing to travel to the Walk for Life West Coast where he will have a Stand True table with pro-life products and will speak at the Students for Life Conference on the West Coast.

Father Denis is reviewing Priests for Life activities from 2016 and working on talks and homilies for Richmond Texas,  Sacred Heart Church.  Lots to tell these Lone Star faithful,  but more to hear from their own ups and downs in the courts related to recent legislation defending the unborn.

Our worldwide ministry of Rachel’s Vineyard has had a very busy start to the New Year!

RV is now receiving the usual bounce in the number of calls for post-abortion healing because of the added attention the abortion issue gets at this time of year.

They sent out a monthly newsletter to over 19,000 people, in it we also had a link to our 2016 End of Year report.

At the start of 2017, PNCI (Parliamentary Network for Critical Issues, under the direction of Marie Smith) is analyzing the most pressing challenges to a culture of life in regions of the world and at the United Nations. It continues strategic planning on how PNCI can counter anti-life actions in collaboration with like-minded organizations and individuals.

Fr. Frank continues to broadcast his daily Facebook live videos and has been calling for action to support the new President's Cabinet Appointments as they undergo their Senate confirmation hearings.

Priests for Life has responded to the scandal that has been uncovered in the Church of Scientology, where people  in their high echelons have been forced to have abortions.

Janet Morana, our Executive Director, Fr. Frank Pavone and Georgette Forney of Anglicans for Life, and also a co-founder of the Campaign, will be leading women of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign at the March for Life, at which members of the Campaign will share public testimony about their experience of the pain and healing after abortion.

In the arena of media, Fr. Frank will speak on Teresa Tomeo's Catholic Connection with Teresa Tomeo on Wednesday, January 25 at 8:35, and Janet will again host "The Gospel of Life" show on Radio Maria on Tuesday night the 24th. Meanwhile, our Defending Life and Catholic View for Women programs air each week on EWTN and we continue to promote them vigorously.
