Fr. Frank Pavone and Janet Morana are at the Heartbeat International Conference this week in Rosemont, IL. Fr Frank will be presenting a workshop on One Thing We Must Never Forget: Our Work is Spiritual. Janet Morana will present a workshop on Grieving the Children We Can Not Save.
Executive Director Janet Morana continues to prepare the episodes for the upcoming taping of The Catholic View for Women at EWTN.
Fr. Denis was involved in the Chrism Mass at the Philadelphia Cathedral, Holy Thursday, followed by fraternal sharing with fellow priests at a reception. The Evening Mass of the Lord’s Supper followed. Celebrant at commemoration of the Passion and Death of the Lord, Good Friday; led the assembly at St Nicholas of Tolentine Church in the Easter Vigil’s solemn chant, Exsultet, celebrating and preaching Resurrection and Life on Easter morning, celebrated Easter Monday liturgy in Kings Park, NY; Easter Tuesday at the Little Sisters and elderly residents in Queens Village. He is now preparing talks for international (Portugal, Spain, France, England) pilgrimage to Marian sites, most significantly Fatima 100! all taking place this May.
Priests for Life has initiated two Prayer Campaigns for an End to the Evils of abortion and Planned Parenthood: April 20-28 & April 29-May 7 in conjunction with the nationwide Planned Parenthood protests on April 28-29. Go here for more information.
This week Priests for Life launched a public education and advocacy campaign focused on late term abortion. Priests for Life associate Father Stephen Imbarrato talked about the reality of third-trimester abortion at a press conference on Wednesday, April 19 at the University of New Mexico’s Hodgins Hall in Albuquerque, organized by Rep. Steve Pearce (R-N.M.) and also attended by Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.). Priests for Life also commissioned an undercover phone call to an abortion clinic that agreed to do an abortion on a mother at 33 weeks into her pregnancy. For more information, click here.

PNCI is focused on tracking pro-abortion activities taking place in Africa and sharing the findings with key African contacts. This includes news about a campaign by IPPF Africa targeting journalists in order to produce news articles favorable to the legalization of abortion in countries across the continent that protect the lives of unborn children.

This week Kevin Burke met with a Delaware leader in pro life and in the 40 days for life campaign to explore ways to collaborate and promote our common work to end abortion and bring healing to those who are wounded by the Shockwaves of Abortion.
Kevin also met this week with a local therapist who works in the regional mental health field with victims of abuse and trauma to offer consultation on how to best reach out to her clients who have abortion in their history and the value of programs like Rachel’s Vineyard for her organization’s clients.
On Friday, April 19, Kevin has a planning meeting with Rachel’s Vineyard team member in New Jersey and will be working this week on an article on the relationship of post abortion symptoms and a popular HBO series “Big Little Lies.” Stay tuned.

The Travel Department is working on preparing the 2018 trips, as invitation are coming in. We still have openings for the 2017 for Fr. Denis and Fr. Stephen Imbarrato. Feel free to call the travel department to ask about inviting one of our speakers.

The Priests for Life IT Department is preparing for our office computer upgrades.
Fr. Stephen Imbarrato continues with his "daily prayer, reflection, and update Facebook Live" each morning at 9 am eastern time. Fr. Frank also continues to broadcast his daily Facebook live videos.
Stand True Youth Outreach is preparing for their summer internship and putting out applications for the internship. They will be building a team of some of the best young pro-lifers in the country to come and train with them this summer.
In the arena of media, Fr. Frank and Janet Morana continue to be on Teresa Tomeo's Catholic Connection weekly. Our radio show, The Gospel of Life on Radio Maria airs every Tuesday night at 6pm ET. Meanwhile, brand new episodes of our Defending Life and Catholic View for Women programs are currently airing on EWTN and we continue to promote them vigorously.
