Here we give you a snapshot of some of what the Priests for Life family of ministries is doing in these days. We thank you for your support and invite you to get to know us better!!

Fr. Frank Pavone has begun planning for the National Prayer Service ( to take place in Washington DC on the morning of the March for Life. Senior officials in the Presidential Administration will be invited, and it will once again be the premier interdenominational prayer event associated with the anniversary of Roe vs. Wade.

Fr. Frank urged Priests for Life followers in Georgia to vote pro-life in the high profile Congressional race that took place on June 20th. The pro-life candidate, Karen Handel, won that race!

Fr. Frank is also helping to facilitate a coordinated effort among pro-life groups to call on their people to urge the US Senate to keep taxpayer money away from the abortion industry. The next few weeks will be crucial in this effort.

Fr. Frank is working on a project to urge all pastors to publicize alternatives to abortion. The collaboration of Good Counsel Homes and Heartbeat International -- with their resources and hotlines numbers -- will be central to this project.

Fr. Frank Pavone has been preparing for upcoming presentations at the National Right to Life Convention as well as at the Catholic Marketing Network, the Night Vision Festival, and the Blackstone Fellowship talk he gives to law students from around the country. He has also, in conjunction with the Silent No More team, been reaching out to Olympic Gold Medalist Sanya Richards-Ross, who reveals in her memoirs about her abortion, and how she wants to help others heal from it.

Fr. Frank has been preparing daily Facebook broadcasts and doing other radio interviews, as well as consulting with various experts about the construction of the television and radio studios in the new Priests for Life headquarters in Florida.

Fr. Frank has been in close contact with the Trump Administration and with our allies in Congress to assist in the defunding Planned Parenthood, and also to prepare for the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, which would protect the lives of children in the womb who can feel pain. 

Kevin Burke has been focusing this month sharing articles and blogs on the topic of the Shockwaves theme of men and abortion. On such blog involves a radio host from Texas Brad Cornell who shared his story. Kevin will be interviewed on Brad’s radio show next week.  Kevin was interviewed this morning by a reporter with the National Catholic Register for an article on abortion loss and recovery.  He is currently planning a talk with the national director of Catholic Social Workers for a presentation to a student group in the Fall at an Ivy League University.

Kevin also has a powerful article coming out on the Pewsitter news service entitled  A Solidarity of the Broken Hearted -My Journey from the Storms of Promiscuity, Abortion, and HIV to the Safe Harbor of God's Mercy. His recent article on the father of abortion pioneer Dr Bernard Nathanson received over one-thousand likes and shares on Facebook, The Sins of the Father: The Role of an Abusive Tyrannical Patriarch in the Legalization of Abortion in the United States.

Marie Smith and the Parliamentary Network for Critical Issues (PNCI) is following actions at both the General Assembly meeting of the Organization of American States in Mexico and at the United Nations, in New York and Geneva, that may attempt to advance access to abortion and collaborating with other pro-life organizations on strategic responses.

Fr. Stephen Imbarrato has been in Washington, DC for meetings with pro-life leaders and prayer in front of Planned Parenthood and other local abortion mills. He has also been celebrating Mass at the EWTN Washington, DC chapel. Later this week he will head home to New Mexico to spend time with his grandson, giving him insights into the priesthood and pro- life work by bringing him to Albuquerque abortion mills and exposing him to Albuquerque prolifers. 

Dr. Theresa Burke will be presenting at the Catholic Medical Association Boot Camp held at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, PA on June 22nd.. She will be presenting to medical students and residents about the psychological impacts of abortion loss and grief. 

Our travel department is working on the schedule for our July pastoral team meeting (last meeting in the NY building) and the October meeting( first meeting in Titusville, FL).  They are also working on finalizing the details for all the summer travels for the pastoral team members. 

Janet Morana continues to finalize her new book about the shockwaves of abortion.  She is also overseeing, along with, Mr. Mark Valonzo, our Chief Operating Officer, the finalization of the renovations in our new headquarters in Florida and the plans for our move there over the summer.

Priests for Life along with Abortion Free New Mexico is conducting an ongoing public education and advocacy campaign focused on late term abortion. Priests for Life commissioned and released four undercover phone calls, the lasts of which was released on June 13. Our social media team is preparing updates each day consistent with the liturgical feasts or civic observances; they are also training our team as well as pro-life leaders of other groups on how to be more effective in the use of multiple social media platforms.

In the arena of media, Fr. Frank and Janet Morana continue to be on Teresa Tomeo's Catholic Connection weekly. Our radio show, The Gospel of Life on Radio Maria airs every Tuesday night at 6pm ET. Meanwhile, brand new episodes of our Defending Life and Catholic View for Women programs are currently airing on EWTN and we continue to promote them vigorously.
