Early voting –

In person – Any voter may vote early in person, no excuse required. In-person early voting is available at the voter’s county clerk’s office starting 40 days before an election. In 2014, the early voting period is from July 10 to August 18 for the Primary; September 25 to November 3 for the General Election.

By mail – Any voter may vote early by mail, no excuse required. An absentee/vote- by-mail ballot may be requested any day of the calendar year of an election, but cannot be requested on the day of the election. Ballots must be returned before the close of polls on Election Day.
