State Primary voter registration deadline – April 15, 2014

State Primary date – May 13, 2014


General Election voter registration deadline – October 14, 2014

General Election date – November 4, 2014

Early voting –

In person –

Any voter may vote early in person, no excuse necessary.

For the State Primary, early in-person voting is available between April 30, 2014 and May 10, 2014.

For the General Election, early in-person voting is available between October 22, 2014 and November 1, 2014.

By mail –

Voting by mail is permitted only if you have a valid excuse such as that you will be away from your county of residence on Election Day and through all of the early voting period or you have health problems or a physical disability.

For the State Primary, requests for absentee/vote by mail ballots must be received between February 18, 2014 and May 7, 2014. Ballots must be postmarked by Primary Day, May 13, 2014, to be counted.

For the General Election, requests for absentee/vote by mail ballots must be received between August 12, 2014 and October 29, 2014. Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, November 4, 2014, to be counted.
