State Primary voter registration deadline – July 22, 2014 or at the polls on Primary Day

General Election voter registration deadline – October 14, 2014 or at the polls on Election Day

General Election date – November 4, 2014

Early voting –

In person – Starting with the 2014 Primary, all voters will be able to vote early in person, no excuse necessary.

Early in-person voting is available 46 days prior to an election Monday through Friday during business hours at city or township clerk’s offices, plus from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the Saturday before the election.

By mail – Starting with the 2014 Primary, all voters will be able to vote early by mail, no excuse necessary.

There is no specific deadline by which absentee/vote-by-mail ballots must be requested. Absentee/vote-by-mail ballots will be available starting 46 days before an election. Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by 3:00 p.m. on Election Day.
