Early voting –

In person – Any voter may vote early in person, no excuse required. As soon as absentee ballots are available (30 to 45 days before an election), a voter may vote an absentee ballot, without having to apply for one, at his municipal clerk’s office.

By mail – Any voter may vote early by mail, no excuse required. There is no specific deadline for applications for absentee/vote-by-mail ballots, but completed ballots must be returned by the close of polls on Election Day.
