CA waste company to cut ties with Planned Parenthood

Rich Espicha, CFO of Barnett Medical Services, yesterday pledged that his company will no longer pick up the bodies of aborted babies from nearly 20 Planned Parenthood abortion facilities in California.
On July 27, members of the Survivors Summer Youth Camp captured on video a Barnett worker picking up containers of aborted babies from Planned Parenthood in San Francisco. Survivors' campers pleaded with the driver to refuse to drive the truck that picks up and disposes of the aborted babies and let him know that Planned Parenthood can only abort babies if they have business collaborators making it possible.
On July 30, pro-life advocates went to the offices of Barnett Medical Waste in Hayward, CA, to meet with Espicha. Bryan Kemper of Stand True Ministries/Priests for Life, Terrisa Bukovinac of Pro Life San Francisco, and Stephen Cyr of Survivors encouraged Espicha to stop collaborating with Planned Parenthood.
Yesterday, Espicha contacted Survivors to ask for a meeting, and then let them know he has given notice to Planned Parenthood that he will no longer pick up its aborted babies. Photos and videos are available from the meetings.
Survivors' leaders, campers and the pro-life movement at large, are very thankful for the thoughtful response and decision by Barnett Medical Services to stop collaborating with Planned Parenthood.
Survivors Founder Jeff White said, "I couldn't be more proud of these young people who had the courage of conviction to confront and plead with the owner of this medical waste facility to stop doing business with Planned Parenthood. The young people trained at our leadership camp are not leaders of tomorrow - they are leaders today as demonstrated by this blessed victory."
Kemper, founder of Stand True and youth director for Priests for Life, said: "My Heart broke when I saw the remains of innocent humans being taken from Planned Parenthood last Friday. I knew we had to reach out to the company picking up these babies. I was elated to hear the owner of the company decided to cut ties with Planned Parenthood and stop cooperating with the evil of abortion."
Terrisa Bukovinac, Pro-Life San Francisco founder and executive director, said, "Pro-Life San Francisco intends to continue to be a resource to vulnerable people in the San Francisco Bay area. Respecting life doesn't only mean ending the dehumanization of the unborn, but connecting pregnant people to the support networks they need. We want our community to be empowered."
Fr. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, added: "We at Priests for Life have always believed that everything we need to end abortion is found inside the abortion industry. This corrupt industry and those who work within it are not strong, but weak. Our actions this week in ending this contract is more evidence of that."
