HB 1456 - The Heartbeat Bill
Prohibits the abortion of an unborn baby with a detectable heartbeat, except
in cases "to prevent the death of a pregnant woman, to prevent a serious
risk of the substantial and irreversible impairment of a major bodily
function of the pregnant woman, or to save the life of an unborn child." The
measure does not apply if a medical emergency exists and the physician notes
the emergency in the woman’s medical record.

HB 1305 - Sex Selection/Fetal Abnormality Abortion Prohibition
Bars an abortion when the abortionist knows that the woman is seeking to
terminate her child’s life solely because of the baby’s sex, genetic
abnormality such as Down syndrome, or the possibility of a genetic

SB 2305 - Hospital Admitting Privileges for Abortionists
Requires that an abortionist have admitting privileges at a hospital within
30 miles of the place where he performs the abortion. The measure also
mandates that an abortion facility have a staff member trained in
cardiopulmonary resuscitation present while an abortion is being performed.
