Fr. Frank Pavone and David Bereit extend a special invitation
On January 22, 2009, as pro-life activists from around the nation gather in Washington DC, we invite you to join us for an event that will bring together many of the leaders and participants in 40 Days for Life.
It is a prayer service in the chambers of the United States Senate, to be held from 8:30 to 10am. (Given the procedures required by the Senate, we will only be able to announce the specific room shortly before the event.)
Many of you have expressed the desire to get together with others who have conducted 40 Days for Life in their communities. After our prayer and worship, we will have the opportunity to interact with one another informally and get to know each other better, prior to going to the rally and March for Life.
This National Memorial for the Preborn and their Mothers and Fathers is co-sponsored each year by the National Pro-life Religious Council, the National Clergy Council, Priests for Life, and Faith and Action. Some of you have come in past years and have been inspired by the music, the preaching, the testimonies, and the presence of religious leaders from dozens of denominations.
Please make plans to join us!
Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director, Priests for Life
David Bereit, National Campaign Coordinator, 40 Days for Life
