What could follow a wonderful Thanksgiving? For Fr. Scott Daniels, it was a visit to beautiful Traverse City, Michigan, for a Pro-Life Parish Weekend.
Fr. Scott travelled to the idyllic city on Grand Traverse Bay where he preached at all the weekend Masses at St. Patrick’s. On Saturday, he participated in the prayer vigil for nascent human life requested by Pope Benedict XVI, which was not just for the parish, but the entire vicariate.
On the first Sunday of Advent, Fr. Scott’s message was one of being prepared and staying awake for the Second Coming of Our Lord. He noted Biblical passages that speak of Jesus, St. John the Baptist, and the prophet Jeremiah in their mothers’ wombs and of their clear humanity before birth.
