Stirring Things Up in Downey, California, March 2, 2010

Santa Ana, California, was the destination for Jim Pinto in early March for the Living Help Crisis Pregnancy Center’s fund raising dinner.  Jim was the keynote speaker at the banquet and stirred the faith of 300 appreciative attendees.  He also met privately and prayed with the Living Help Center’s leadership, including Director Anne Bayer, who is also the Mayor of Downey, California.

Jim joined local pro-lifers for sidewalk counseling at a Downey abortion mill, which was located adjacent to a high school.  The short but productive trip resulted in new relationships with local clergy, including Protestant pastors, and a growing awareness in the Los Angeles area of Priests for Life’s ministry.
