The first weekend of Advent found Fr. Scott Daniels in Noblesville, Indiana, for a Pro-Life Parish Weekend, preaching at all five weekend masses and presided at two.
Speaking on St. Luke’s Gospel, Fr. Scott explained the three comings we concentrate upon during Advent – the coming of the Christ Child at Bethlehem, the daily coming of Christ into our hearts, and the final coming of Christ at the Parousia. He cautioned that no human being is more human than another, so our decisions and actions regarding the dignity of others render us more or less human depending upon our choices and actions.
On Monday, Fr. Scott visited the Cathedral School in Indianapolis to address the Pro-Life Committee. Afterwards, he traveled to Guerin High School in Noblesville to address the entire student body with the message that each and every one of us possesses unique gifts from God to give to the world.
