Hosted by Fr. Jack Gleason and Fr. Brian O’Brien, President of Bishop Kelly High School, Fr. Daniels spent a Pro-Life Parish Weekend at Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Church of the Madalene.
After preaching at all three Masses and presiding at the 10:00 Mass Sunday, Fr. Daniels spoke with many parishioners who were deeply grateful for hearing his message and for the work of Priests for Life.
On Monday, Fr. Daniels traveled with Oklahomans for Life’s State Chairman, Tony Lauinger, to address the student body of Cascia Academy at a morning assembly. He shared his own call to use his pastoral gifts to advance life issues, mentioning his own experience of the awareness of the presence of Holy Innocents at Judgment Day asking him, “What did you do to help us?”
Fr. Daniels repeated this message to 7th and 8th graders at St. Mary’s Catholic School, stressing the absolute uniqueness of every human being. This being a trip with many opportunities to speak to students, Fr. Daniels also addressed a morality class at Cascia Academy and religion classes at Bishop Kelly High School.
On Tuesday, Fr. Daniels was the keynote speaker at the kick-off of the 40 Days for Life campaign, emphasizing to the crowd that we must all stand up and work to see that abortion is ended in America.
