Priests for Life Associate Director Fr. Denis Wilde, O.S.A., visited three states in five days for pro-life prayer, celebration, and commemoration. On Friday, September 18, Fr. Wilde attended the 25th Anniversary Dinner of Project Rachel, the post-abortion reconciliation ministry of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. There he spoke with the group's founder, Vicki Thorn and the evening's keynote speaker, Supreme Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Carl Anderson.
On Saturday, Fr. Wilde made his way to Fredonia, Michigan, where he joined Fr. Guy Gurath in celebrating Masses that night and Sunday morning in four area parishes. Monday, he delivered a two-hour presentation on the work of Priests for Life and gave an overview of a pro-life homily to novitiates at St. Rita's Parish in Racine. That afternoon, he visited St. Rita's High School community in Chicago for prayer and dinner, followed by two general assemblies and classroom follow-ups on Tuesday.
