Dear Friends of Life, Welcome to another edition of Frontlines!

Fr. Peter West in Centereach, NY - September 12-13, 2009

Associate Director Fr. Peter West travelled to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Parish in Centereach, NY, for a weekend of pro-life activities.  Fr. West preached at all of the weekend Masses and after one of them, he met a woman who told him how she had been advised by her doctor to have an abortion because her baby would be born mentally handicapped.  She instead chose life and now her child is a pre-med student.

Among the weekend’s highlights was the Franciscan Friars Renewal Picnic at the home of Charlie and Joan Moran, where Fr. West was introduced to a crowd of 200.
