Dear Friends of Life, Welcome to another edition of Frontlines!
Fr. Frank Pavone in South Carolina!

From October 25-27, 2007, Fr. Frank addressed the Catholic Leadership Conference, an annual gathering of national lay Catholic apostolates. Fr. Frank was a presenter on a panel regarding Humanae Vitae and Contraception and presented to the leaders his pamphlet Abortion and Contraception: Fruits of the Same Tree.

Fr. Frank also gave the closing address to the gathering, which included Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua, Bishop Robert Vasa, Dr. Alan Keyes, Mother Assumpta Long, Jim Sedlak, Deacon Bill Steltemeier of EWTN, and many other well-known Catholic leaders. Fr. Frank spoke to them about the dynamics of the Presidential Election in 2008.

The morning after the conference, Fr. Frank joined local pro-life activists and led them in prayer at the Charleston Women's Medical Center. The Charleston activists dubbed Fr. Frank "The Martin Luther King of the Pro-life Movement."
