From October 25-27, 2007,
Fr. Frank addressed the Catholic Leadership Conference, an
annual gathering of national lay Catholic apostolates. Fr. Frank
was a presenter on a panel regarding Humanae Vitae and
Contraception and presented to the leaders his pamphlet
Abortion and Contraception: Fruits of the Same Tree.
Fr. Frank also gave the closing address to the gathering,
which included Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua, Bishop Robert Vasa,
Dr. Alan Keyes, Mother Assumpta Long, Jim Sedlak, Deacon Bill
Steltemeier of EWTN, and many other well-known Catholic leaders.
Fr. Frank spoke to them about the dynamics of the Presidential
Election in 2008.
morning after the conference, Fr. Frank joined local pro-life
activists and led them in prayer at the Charleston Women's
Medical Center. The Charleston activists dubbed Fr. Frank "The
Martin Luther King of the Pro-life Movement."
