Dear Friends of Life, Welcome to another edition of Frontlines!
Priests for Life at St. Ann's Parish on Staten Island

Fr. Peter West of Priests for Life visited St. Ann’s Parish of Staten Island on September 8 and 9 at the invitation of Pastor John Steven Kostek.  On Saturday the Holy Name Society of St. Ann’s sponsored a Pro-life Day of Recollection with the theme “Broadening Our Pro-life Perspective.”  Janet Morana, Associate Director of Priests for Life and Co-founder of the Silent No More Awareness Campaign spoke about the healing ministries of Rachel’s Vineyard Retreats for women and men wounded by abortion and the Silent No More Awareness Campaign where women and men speak publicly and very personally about the harm done to their lives by abortion.  Bill Harder spoke about his Crossroads Crisis Pregnancy Center of Staten Island and how they help women to Choose Life and Joe Quattrocchi of Good Counsel Homes spoke about the services they offer to women once they have made the decision to have their baby.  Ray Mooney concluded the talks with a presentation on the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life Lay Associates.  The day closed with a pro-life concert by Marian singer/composer Marty Rotella in honor of Our Lady’s birthday.
